Democratic Party candidates discouraging and depressing

Sedona AZ – The following is a letter to the SedonaEye.com editor:

Editor,

The entire list of Democratic candidates for president is discouraging if not outright depressing: Joe Biden will always be Mr. Touchy Feely. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren remind me of two ivory tower college professors way overdue for retirement. Pete Buttigieg is actually running for governor of Indiana. Amy Klobuchar needs to stay in the Senate since the legislative branch was her choice for representing Minnesota. As for the rest of the candidates in the private sector, they need to run for city council first and then proceed from there.

On the other hand California recently lost the best four-term governor and Oakland the best two-term mayor in their entire history. I am referring of course to Jerry Brown. He is a man of utmost integrity with an honest zeal to promote excellent quality of life for all Americans, not just those aligned with the Democratic party. And just as with former president Obama he can add a vice-presidential candidate who specialized in foreign affairs.

Jerry, it’s time to throw your hat into the ring and declare your candidacy for president of the United States. The world and the country desperately need you to put an end to Trumpism and lead us back to a time of peace and prosperity.

LA article saying Cal workers not seeing this increase for most of the nation but taxes are increasing and cost of living has soared in past 2 decades in California:

…….Wages for the typical worker —nonsupervisory employees who account for 82% of the workforce— are rising at the fastest rate in more than a decade, a sign that the labor market has tightened sufficiently to convey bigger pay increases to lower paid employees.

Gains for those workers have accelerated much of this year, a time when the unemployment rate fell to a half-century low. A short supply of workers, increased poaching and minimum-wage increases have helped those nearer to the bottom of the pay scale.

Pay for the bottom 25% of wage earners rose 4.5% in November from a year earlier, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Wages for the top 25% of earners rose 2.9%.

The Atlanta Fed found wages for low skilled workers have accelerated since early 2018 and last month matched the pace of high skill workers for the first time since 2010.

NEVER JERRY. NEVER BARACK. Their socialist policies are dinosaurs. Go back to Russia that shares this group-think and decline there. But you’ll have to give up your multimillions and McMansions of course (Former Prez just bought island oceanfront mansion to go with his DC mansion – guess he doesn’t believe in climate change either. LMAO) Likable as people but they’re not good politicians and share the bad habits of politicos.

Me either. I’m not voting Democratic party candidates and encouraging others not to do same.

    Good letter @Bialek.

  4. Democrats are Russians without disguises says:

Wall Street Journal political analyst Kimberley Strassel declared, “By the end of the Green New Deal resolution (and accompanying fact sheet) I was laughing so hard I nearly cried. If a bunch of GOPers plotted to forge a fake Democratic bill showing how bonkers the party is, they could not have done a better job. It is beautiful.”

  5. Red team, blue team says:

Do you notice they are both for ending wars, but never do?

Do you notice they are both for less taxes and smaller government, but it never happens?

Do you notice they they are both for stopping illegal immigration, but it never happens?

The two reams, Dems and Republicans are just a diversion. They never go to jail. They only enforce the laws they want. Time for term limits and ending big government. We would do better throwing darts at a phone book to pick our leaders.

My kids seem to be infatuated with Bernie Sanders and it’s definitely a college taught bias that trickles down from the top and it causes great shame because they don’t wish to acknowledge that the Sanders of this American world would destroy it to replace it with the country beliefs and government that murdered their people for centuries. I believe Sanders misunderstood his Jewish parents teaching of how to help others by turning away from the America that offers others as poor his own kind of success.

  9. Honest Government says:

“But Freeh’s [Clinton era] FBI managed to bury the fact that its most highly valued source on Chinese espionage in the United States, a politically wired California woman named Katrina Leung, had been spying for China throughout the 1980s and 1990s. All the while, she was having sex with the special agent in charge of her case, a top supervisor of the FBI’s China Squad, James J. Smith—and occasionally with a leading FBI counterintelligence expert on China, William Cleveland.”

“But no one wanted to embarrass the Bureau. The case festered for years. Not until after Freeh’s departure was it clear that the Chinese, Russian, and Cuban intelligence services all had penetrated the FBI in the 1990s. So had a member of the world’s most dangerous and least-known terrorist organization. His name was Ali Mohamed. Al-Qaeda had a double agent posing as an informer for the FBI.”

“Fitzgerald and the FBI agents who worked with him in New York all knew that Ali Mohamed was working for al-Qaeda. They decided to arrest him then and there. Two years later, he pleaded guilty in open court to serving as bin Laden’s first deep-penetration agent in America and a key conspirator in the embassy bombings. Then the United States made him vanish; no record of his imprisonment exists. He was an embarrassment to the FBI.”

Democrats have always been FOR more taxes, check it out. Some taxes necessary for common good but things like bed taxes are government overstepping to enrich a few at the cost to many. If taxes were directed to infrastructure like sewer, enough was raised to have gold lined system for every single toilet in Sedona wastewater area but instead it goes to have Chamber parties and salaries paid? This isn’t morally right. The council does it, but it isn’t morally right.

We applaud President Trump and his advisors for the swift action in Iraq. There we said it and didn’t turn into a pillars of salt. Now you say it fellow Democrats and Republicans.

    from other news
….Let’s look at the scoreboard since the Islamist regime came to power in Iran a 1979 revolution marked by capturing and holding 52 Americans hostage for 444 days.

Iran’s proxies then bombed our embassy in Beirut in 1983 and were responsible for killing 241 servicemen at our Marine barracks there.

They took American officials hostage in Lebanon later that decade and tortured and killed some.

Iranian agents blew up the Khobar Towers dormitory used by U.S. Air Force personnel in Saudi Arabia in 1996.

During the 2000s, Iran was responsible for the deaths of a major portion of the Americans killed in Iraq by Shiite militias.

Just in the past year, Iran has repeatedly targeted U.S. citizens and interests, ranging from killing a U.S. serviceman in Afghanistan, to disrupting shipping in the Arabian Gulf, to shooting down a U.S. Navy aircraft in international airspace.

Trump has hardly acted in haste. He canceled an attack on Iran last June because he thought the possible cost in human lives would have been disproportionate to the provocation.

And he has prioritized financial sanctions over military force in trying to get Iran to abandon its nuclear weapons program.

Trump finally had enough only after Iran was caught once again plotting American deaths and attacked our embassy in Baghdad.

For the first time, an American president has pushed back forcefully on Tehran and made it pay a clear consequence for its use of terrorism…

  15. Mark says:

Hold up a minute. The man didn’t attack Iran or Iraq, he blew 2 terrorists up at no cost to human lives other than other terrorist associates. What a perfect action and very American unlike the Russians or Syrians destroying millions with nerve gas.

Remember America didn’t even blow up the plane, but a car of known and admitted terrorists. Terrorists! Known murderers! Killers of our people that were never brought to justice because they were untouchables? Like cartels and drug dealers?

This Democrat orchestrated anti American groups in the USA instantly appearing on the streets is suspicious and troubling, troubling that the Congress that supported Obama funneling billions of dollars in cash to Iran are having issues with Trump’s ordering a CAR with KNOWN terrorists blown away?????

We as Americans should be proud that like bin Laden, we didn’t kill one single innocent.

  16. Yip says:

    @Mark perfectly said
