Democrat wants winner not sure loser like Sanders

Sedona AZ –  The following is a letter to the SedonaEye.com editor:

“BERNIE IS A SURE LOSER”

The White House

There are several Democratic presidential candidates who support Medicare for All who also happen to be viable general election candidates (unlike Bernie Sanders, who has no realistic chance of being elected president). If you actually want to see Medicare for All implemented, vote for Elizabeth Warren. Senator Warren can win, whereas Bernie Sanders is a sure loser.

Until these myopic, naive Bernie Bros. can provide a satisfactory explanation as to how Sanders would be able to successfully handle the following issues which would certainly be highlighted by the GOP in a general election, their irrational insistence that Democrats vote for non-Democrat Bernie Sanders should fall on deaf ears.

1. Bernie Sanders is on the record repeatedly having unreservedly and uncritically lauded lavish public praise on a number of anti-American communist dictators, like Daniel Ortega and Fidel Castro for instance. (Have you ever watched Bernie’s infamous videotaped interviews on these subjects from August 8, 1985 and from June 13, 1988? You should.) In fact, Bernie Sanders is the only prominent American politician to express more love and respect for totalitarian communist tyrants than Donald Trump does!

2. Then of course there was Bernie Sanders’ still inadequately explained 1988 marital honeymoon in the Soviet Union, where upon returning to Vermont the Marxist socialist Sanders predictably and pathetically voiced his unabashed praise for the Soviet system. One would think that a reasonably intelligent man who is at least nominally Jewish would know better than to openly and unapologetically congratulate an anti-Semitic totalitarian regime for making their trains run on time! But no, Bernie is not nearly as intelligent as advertised. And furthermore, could you ever possibly imagine saying to your fiancé, “We’ll be spending our honeymoon in North Korea with the Dear Leader.” I didn’t think so.

3. Less well known is the fact that in 1963 Bernie Sanders lived and worked for several months on a Stalinist commune near Haifa in Northern Israel that explicitly saw the Soviet Union as its political role model. Sanders’ communal Israeli kibbutz actually flew the red Soviet flag over its compound, the very same red Soviet flag prominently displayed in Bernie Sanders’ office when he was mayor of Burlington, Vermont during the 1980s.

4. And then there’s that bizarre, incredibly disturbing “rape fantasy” article that Sanders wrote which was published in 1972 when Sanders was a 30-year-old far-Left Marxist gubernatorial candidate in Vermont. Where does one even begin in attempting to explain just how awfully atrocious Bernie Sanders views were on the subject of rape? Well, how about this quote from Sanders’ asinine article: “A man goes home and masturbates his typical fantasy. A woman on her knees, a woman tied up, a woman abused. A woman enjoys intercourse with her man – as she fantasizes being raped by three men simultaneously…”*

Why would you vote for someone like that to be President of the United States? We already have someone like that as President! We certainly do not need to replace one foolish, misogynistic, geriatric Russophile with another. There are more qualified, much less crazy Democratic candidates to choose from.

Get a clue, Bernie Bros. Senator Sanders is a sure loser in a general election, which is why (in addition to the 78-year-old’s recent heart attack) Bernie Sanders should drop out of the presidential race immediately.

Losing in 2020 is not an option. Democrats must nominate a candidate who can actually win.

Sincerely,
Jake Pickering

@jakepickering Thx for info. Sanders is a staircase below Trump and I’ve come to see it’s very crowded down there with others running for office. Can’t fathom any state allowing this vermin to be elected to any office but reelecting him over and over, that state voter pool should be embarrassed and deeply ashamed and deeply suspect for why.

  2. Forget the parties says:

All parties are traveling down the same road. It is a dog and pony show and separator of the American people. Wake up.
    Made up issues.

Start thinking like an American. Get back to the basics. Get a grip. We are headed nowhere but a downward spiral. You can stop it.

    I Hear America Singing
    Walt Whitman – 1819-1892

I hear America singing, the varied carols I hear,
Those of mechanics, each one singing his as it should be blithe and strong,
The carpenter singing his as he measures his plank or beam,
The mason singing his as he makes ready for work, or leaves off work,
The boatman singing what belongs to him in his boat, the deckhand singing on the steamboat deck,
The shoemaker singing as he sits on his bench, the hatter singing as he stands,
The wood-cutter’s song, the ploughboy’s on his way in the morning, or at noon intermission or at sundown,
The delicious singing of the mother, or of the young wife at work, or of the girl sewing or washing,
Each singing what belongs to him or her and to none else,
The day what belongs to the day—at night the party of young fellows, robust, friendly,
Singing with open mouths their strong melodious songs.

Imagine if we had treated Pres. Obama and the Democrats the same way as we are treating Pres. Trump and the Republicans. This is America. We gracefully accept it when we lose in elections. Teachers teach your children how democracy works to lift up and not tear down. Teach your children how to be civil. We are better off than we have ever been in this country in decades.

USMCA approved by Senate, one of the biggest trade bills ever negotiated. Biggest trade deal demanding cyber security and stop stealing from us applauded by Silicon Valley signed yesterday. Did you hear about it?

I’m Latina and registered Democrat saying goodbye Democrats. I’m voting straight R this time around. My family came to America to escape what Democrats want to make them lose like their faith, their rights, their liberties from government allowing to own land and land rights. Send Democrats to Cuba and Venezuela and Chile. Trump just protected my right to prayer and my family and millions of Americans Catholic faith. We have generations of Mexican heritage but our faith is first before politics and we don’t get abortions and we don’t abandon our family to the government. We don’t vote for Catholics like Joe Biden who can’t take communion. We don’t vote for women like Elizabeth Warren who pretend to be someone they never were or aren’t now to use minorities to get ahead.

Did you know that Putin dissolved his entire Russian government yesterday to consolidate his power into a Prime Minister position? Stop being manipulated by MSNBC & CBS I Love Socialism news. We Latinos/Latinas don’t and never will. We came to America for the things you Democrats denigrate. We lived with socialism and it is why we escaped.

Millennials will vote Republican. It’s a ground swell against ignorance and control of their lives that the Democrats want to have over them. I’ve taught my children and they are teaching their children. We are free from Democrats yokes. I am educating those around me that the Democrats control. No mas. NO MAS.

Long before former First Lady Hillary Clinton was on the ballot in 2016, Victoria Woodhull made history by becoming the first female candidate for president in 1872. Running against President Ulysses S. Grant as an Equal Rights Party candidate, Woodhull stood tall on a platform of progressive reforms in the workplace and beyond, despite most women not even having the right to vote until 1920. She sought women’s suffrage, an eight-hour workday for all workers, and the end of the death penalty. While her ideas were inspiring, Woodhull did have one slight problem: her age. The president must be at least 35 years old at the time of their inauguration. In Woodhull’s case, she would have only been 34. The potential Constitutional crisis never came to fruition, as Woodhull did not gain a single electoral vote in the election. As for the popular vote, there is no existing record of her vote tally. Regardless, her run was historic and is still admired to this day.

  7. Rosa Fernanda Perez, PV AZ says:

“Under Sanders, suburbanites could get hit with a marginal tax rate of nearly 70% on income and investments. Combined with fears about how a Sanders presidency would impact the stock market and the broader economy, Trump’s occasionally off-putting conduct becomes the less problematic choice. Additionally, suburban voters generally reject Sanders’s denunciation of American capitalism and assertion that “America is a racist country top to bottom,” uttered in a recent Democratic debate.” NYT

Now it’s me talking about taxes. It’s fair enough. Why that man says this country is racist from top to bottom? To get votes from liberal white people. I’ve known racism and this COUNTRY doesn’t have it, my nana hates everybody but she was born in Philippines and that’s how they roll there, they eat their own and then complain about the quality she says, and their a racist country. Be glad with your blessings. I’m octoracial and never would I say that about our country. Neither would any of my family. Only white people say it? Why’s that?
