[“Gentlemen——The affectionate sentiments of esteem and approbation which you are so good as to express towards me, on behalf of the Danbury Baptist association, give me the highest satisfaction. my duties dictate a faithful and zealous pursuit of the interests of my constituents, & in proportion as they are persuaded of my fidelity to those duties, the discharge of them becomes more and more pleasing.

Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between Man & his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, & not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should “make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,” thus building a wall of separation between Church & State. Adhering to this expression of the supreme will of the nation in behalf of the rights of conscience, I shall see with sincere satisfaction the progress of those sentiments which tend to restore to man all his natural rights, convinced he has no natural right in opposition to his social duties.

I reciprocate your kind prayers for the protection & blessing of the common father and creator of man, and tender you for yourselves & your religious association, assurances of my high respect & esteem.

Th Jefferson——Jan. 1. 1802.—“]

This is a copy of Thomas Jefferson’s letter to the Danbury Baptist Association, which is, to my knowledge, the only place in historical documents anything about “Separation of Church and State” was used, and, if you read it you will not see anywhere that “Discussing Politics or Politicians in Church should be regulated in any way, shape or form;” in fact, quite the opposite. This was to reaffirm the Governmental limitations to “Establish or Dictate” a “National Religion.”

Making exceptions for or changing Laws and or Procedures to accommodate anyone solely on Religious affiliation or basis is specifically prohibited by the First Amendment unless there is a legal and justifiable reason for the exception (the military assignment of a “Conscientious Objector” comes to mind albeit that is not based solely on Religion).

The President even with his ‘Phone and Pen’ is part of the Government, so one would think he would have to abide by the Constitution of the United States, however, technically, he may not have to follow the same rules. The first word of the First Amendment identifies Congress shall make no law, it does not say “Obama” shall make no law by ‘Executive Order.’ So President Obama making exceptions in changing laws even though fundamentally illegal may be Technically legal, and, with a narcissistic socialist like Obama having all the support from the other socialists in government and Media, there is no telling what will be done – especially when it comes to supporting and encouraging the “Islamic Jihadists.” (President Obama has already claimed this as either a Muslim or an Islamic country, I don’t remember which.)

We, the American Public, have allowed them to alienate Almighty God from so much of the public arena – especially the public schools and universities – and because of a “Lack of Knowledge” a massive amount of Christians think that whatever happens is “God’s Will.” How foolish!

Our Sports and Entertainment are more important to a vast amount (probably most) of Christians, than learning what God’s Will actually is, which can be settled with study because ‘God’s Will is His Word’ thus ‘God’s Word is His Will.’ In order for God to exist and remain God, He absolutely must be “100% Legal, 100% Honest and 100% Consistent 100% of the time” and He “Will not/Cannot change one iota” of it no matter what you or I desire or believe.
