SEDONA AZ–Sign up now for October Swap Meet!  Is stuff piling up in your garage? Bring those unwanted items to the Community Swap Meet Extravaganza on Saturday, October 16 and forget the hassle of holding your own garage sale.

The event will be held on the upper field at Posse Grounds Park, 525 Posse Ground Road, Sedona, from 9 AM until 2 PM.  

The Swap Meet (a.k.a. Garage Sale, Flea Market, Tag Sale, etc.) admission is free and open to the public.

Anyone can reserve a 12’ x 15’ space for a small fee of $30 ($25 for Sedona Recycles members).  All fees are tax-deductible and benefit Sedona Recycles, the Verde Valley’s nonprofit recycling center.

The first Sedona Recycles Swap Meet was held in 1989. After a 20-year hiatus, the event was revived last October and was a huge success!

The Swap Meet is now held twice a year, every May and October.

Sedona Recycles also provides free 24-hour recycling sites in every community in the Verde Valley, as well as specialized recycling services at their processing center in Sedona.

The October 2010 Swap Meet will feature vendors from all over the Verde Valley and feature a raffle, home-cooked barbecue and kids’ activities.
