RoadRunner Beep Beeps No More in Sedona!

Sedona AZ–The City of Sedona discontinued its public transit RoadRunner service effective June 6, 2011 by City Council vote on April 12, 2011. The Council voted to terminate the RoadRunner transit service in the Uptown/Gallery District. Currently, the RoadRunner service operates in the Uptown area from the municipal parking lot on Schnebly Lane and to Tlaquepaque and Hillside Shops. The RoadRunner vehicles will be transferred to Lake Havasu City and the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The under-utilized City of Sedona public transit RoadRunner system was never embraced by the Sedona city residents or by Sedona tourists. The Verde Lynx public transit bus service between Sedona and Cottonwood may undergo schedule adjustments to accomodate increases and or decreases in 2011 ridership.

For additional RoadRunner information, please contact the City of Sedona at (928) 204-7127.
