Arizona Public Service Utility to Remove Vegetation

Sedona AZ–Arizona Public Service (APS) will be performing vegetation maintenance on its Right of Way in the Sedona area, which will involve the removal of vegetation that may be hazardous to power lines.  Work will begin the week of April 18, 2011 and should be completed within five months.  This will include the pruning and removal of trees as well as low growing vegetation to ensure the safety of the public and APS employees and provide for continued reliable electric service. The clearing also provides valuable fire mitigation in the wildland urban interface. For more information, please contact Jeff Spohn, APS Northwest Division Forester at 928-273-3032.
