Nominate Local Philanthropists

Sedona AZ –Each year, the Yavapai County Community Foundation recognizes outstanding individuals and organizations in the following categories; Community Benefactor Award (Recognizing a nonprofit, public benefit organization), Business Philanthropist Award, Philanthropist of the Year Award and Youth Philanthropist of the Year Award (Age 18 and younger).

You are invited to join in the process and nominate today! It’s quick and easy to do. Go to http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/JoyofGiving2011 and complete the nomination form (the youth age range should be 18 and younger). Nominations must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 (less than two weeks away).  

Awards will be presented at the YCCF Joy of Giving Philanthropic Awards Dinner in October. This event will be an opportunity to honor those who have provided valuable philanthropic services in the form of financial help, time, energy, and talent for the residents and nonprofits of Yavapai County. A grant of $1,000 will be made in the name of each award recipient to the Yavapai County nonprofit organization of his or her choice.
