Big Brothers Big Sisters Annual Bowl For Kids Sake Event

cliff castle casinoSedona AZ (April 11, 2010)The Sedona and Verde Valley division of the Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters organization (YBBBS) will hold the final day of its once a year major fundraiser on Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at 6:00 p.m.

The “Bowl For Kids Sake 2010” event will be held at Cliff Castle Casino’s Shake, Rattle & Bowl facility. The annual event enjoys wide community and business support and has been held continuously for more than two decades. Companies may opt to sponsor a team of their employees, or may sponsor a team of children to bowl. Individual non company related bowlers form a new team or join an existing team and solicit pledges from donors to support them. Bowlers don’t need to worry about collecting their pledges as that responsibility falls to the YBBBS staff. Bowlers and their cheering supporters simply come out for a couple of hours to have a good time. Plenty of food, beverages, and prizes are available to all.

Graduates of Big Brothers Big Sisters have gone on to be doctors, attorneys, military officers, CEOs of major corporations and small business owners. You name a career or position and we’ve had them in the program. It’s remarkable what a difference Big Brother Big Sisters has made on the lives of so many at risk children.”
