Yavapai County Administrator Resigns

Cottonwood AZ (June 6, 2012) – The Yavapai County Board of Supervisors County Administrator, Julie Ayers, has submitted her notice of resignation effective July 6, 2012.

Citing family reasons, she will be relocating to the Peoria, Arizona area and plans to join the City of Peoria as its Director of Human Resources pending confirmation by the Peoria City Council.

In her resignation notice, Ms. Ayers expressed appreciation for the opportunities provided to her by the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors during the past twelve years. 

The Yavapai County Board of Supervisors will meet June 7, 2012 to consider acceptance of the resignation and the appointment of an interim administrator.
