Sedona Fire District Responds to Multiple Brush Fires

Sedona AZ (February 25, 2016) – Within a ninety minute period on February 22, 2016, the Sedona Fire District (SFD) emergency crews responded to reports of multiple brush fires along north State Route 89A in Oak Creek Canyon and within the City of Sedona limits near Doodlebug Road. The initial call came in at approximately 7:30 in the evening and was followed by calls at 8:30 p.m. and 9:10 p.m.... 

Sedona Fire District Issues Fall Burn Permits

SEDONA AZ  (September 17, 2012) – To protect your home from potential wildfires and make fall yard cleanup easier, the Sedona Fire District (SFD) is issuing no-cost residential burn permits beginning Monday, September 17, 2012. The final date for burning with a permit is Saturday, December 1, 2012. As always, extreme caution must be used. Permits are required for any open burning within the fire...
