Bell Rock
Sedona AZ (December 19, 2012) – The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office anticipates a large number of people may arrive to watch, and or to participate, in an event expected to take place on Bell Rock the evening of December 20, 2012 through December 21, 2012. The YCSO is urging its Sedona, Arizona and Village of Oak Creek residents to stay off the roads and in their homes.
Peter Gersten, a retired lawyer living in Sedona, is a well-known figure in UFOlogy. He believes a Bell Rock cosmic portal will open at 4:11 a.m. on December 21, 2012. Gersten believes this date and time marks the Winter Solstice and the end of the Mayan calendar.
Gersten plans a “leap of faith” into this portal and a crowd is expected to gather for the 4:11 a.m. Bell Rock event.
If you do plan to attend, be aware there are no public facilities and limited parking at the Bell Rock site. Wear appropriate clothing for near freezing Sedona nighttime winter temperatures, and always carry potable water and a flashlight when outdoors in our Arizona high desert. Be aware that Sedona’s Village of Oak Creek has almost no businesses open at this hour.
Bell Rock is located in a National Scenic Area and visitors are subject to its rules and regulations which will be enforced by the authorities. For further information, contact the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office and the SedonaEye.com for updates.

Why not make it good?” Just takes 10 mins. Mass meditation-consciousness works. Don’t do it out of fear, hate, negativity, scarcity. Do it out of love for yourself & others. Visualize a better world. You’ve got nothing to lose & everything to gain. What’s 10 mins? We see 10 mins of commercials in a 30-min TV program.

First off, Peter Gersten you are a complete psychopath. As I am typing this, it tis already 12/21 in the eastern part of the world, and it has not ceased to exist. You are going to splatter your organs all over the Bell Rock for the wonderful tourists to see for years. Living in Sedona I have seen crazy, and they all give Sedona a bad name. You are a loony, and anyone who jumps off that rock with you deserves to die as well.

In a phone call response to a request for information from the SedonaEye.com this evening, Peter Gersten relayed the following information:
He does not intend to be at Bell Rock until 10 AM on Friday morning. It is not his intention to jump at 4:11 AM.
I’ll be in sleeping.
LOL. I was kind of thinking he wouldn’t jump. I was HOPING he would…but thought he would chicken out.
Peter LIED. What a shame to lie to good people like that. Not that I want to see him jump and die, but he seemed to TRULY believe in what he espoused…and many thought he might be right about his theories. Nope. It’s was all a BIG, FAT…LIE. Many predicted he would get out of a jump right beforehand. Yep, he’s a CHARLATAN.

Reminds me of some years back when a Harmonic Convergence was staged in Sedona. Folks were calling the C of C to make “reservations” because Bell Rock allegedly was a UFO which at a given time would take flight to a “better place.” Having a bit of fun themselves, “reservation-takers” were asking prospective travelers: “Smoking or non-smoking?”

Helicopter pilots are Yavapai Search and Rescue circling Bell Rock area because lots of hikers are on its top and its trails are busy – chopper is in the area if an accident happens. Earlier this week, Gersten was escorted to the top of Bell Rock. He said at that time he did not plan to jump after his family discouraged the idea. On Thursday evening, he confirmed he would not be jumping to SedonaEye.com.
Helicopter circling Bell Rock and quite a few people hiking its trails. No excitement. Just a regular sight seeing day.

Just caught the spectacle on the 9:00 PM Channel 10 news. Oh brother, just the kind of publicity Sedona needs. What a shame it didn’t occur within Sedona City Limits where probably the mayor might have cut tape for the opening? :-)

On 11-28-12 William Holzgrefe flew from Richmond, VA to Phoenix, AZ to attend a gun show for business. During William’s trip to Arizona he came to Flagstaff for personal reasons. On 12-09-12 William spoke with his mother while staying at the Super 8 motel located at 2540 E Lucky Lane and advised he would be home midday on 12-12-12. This was the last known contact with immediate family or friends.
Financial and phone records show activity through 12-11-12 in Flagstaff but after that date there has been no other activity. William has not returned on his flight nor has he returned his rental vehicle a 2013 Ford Explorer, blue in color, with Arizona plate of AXB1500. Report any information you may have to Coconino County Detective Martinet or Silent Witness.
