Sedona AZ (February 20, 2016) – The following is a letter to the SedonaEye.com editor:
Dear Editor,
I hope you will publish this comment and the attached photo of Keep Sedona Beautiful honoree John Cornelius (pictured in the second row of photos on the far right).
I got to know John in 2012 and had many discussions with him over the years about his contributions to veterans and his participation in helping us pick up highway litter. I believe at the time this photo was taken he was 92.
John Cornelius is a true patriot with much skin-in-the-game.

Thanks Gary, we will spread the word.
I’ve known John Cornelius during my 13 years in Sedona. He has raised both the awareness of the needs of veterans and the funds to fill some of those needs. John is indeed a true patriot as well as member of our greatest generation. John, we expect to see at the Sedona Heritage Museum Nov.11 as we celebrate Veterans Day. God bless you, John. Your Friend, Ron
In February of 2009, two guys and a bunch of veterans started “Folksville USA and America the Beautiful & BagReadyJobs” in Arizona.
Today those two guys and their followers clean up litter in Arizona and North Carolina.
The photo shown is of a NCDOT litter bag, a orange, North Carolina Litter-Free Coalition litter bag donated by U-Line and Garbo Grabber litter bag ring donated by Garbo Grabber filled with Arizona litter.
Google “Folksville USA, America the Beautiful & BagReadyJobs and North Carolina Litter-Free Coalition” to see the results of our 2009 efforts as we strive to restore the true beauty to America the Beautiful.

Hi Gary – It was refreshing to see your name in the lineup of comments. Even cross country you continue to do “your thing” and I surely do hope you fared well and without ill effects during the recent hurricanes.
Best wishes,
Eddie
