Dear Editor: Dismayed with ST Bias

Dear Sedona Times:

As President of the Democrats of the Red Rocks, I was upset and dismayed at seeing the totally biased edition of your electronic edition on the web today.  Are these candidates paying for this exposure?  I am forwarding this to some of the Democratic candidates impacted in these races.

It is sad that the Sedona Times is becoming a tool of the No Party – the Republicans and the Tea Partiers.  The Democrats have supported your paper in the past, in more ways than one.  This is a sad time for media coverage in this area.

Yours,

Angela LeFevre, President

Democrats of the Red Rocks       aglefevre@esedona.net

Angela: The Sedona RRN says it will not print anything pro or con any candidate. But obviously, Sedona Times will.

Well, well, well. Sedona Times goes ahead and start printing something about all candidates and the Democrats have a cow. Sorry, Angela, you are not the only political party in town and the Tea Partiers and Republicans deserve equal time. The Red Rock News totally ignores these parties. So play nice and stop blaming everyone else.

We, the Verde Valley Republicans are dismayed at the callous comments posted by the President of the Democrats of the Red Rocks. The United States is a two-party country. The purpose of to maintain checks and balances over one party attempting to take over the country. We are dismayed the this president of a political party would stoop to such tactics to further encourage bias in the media. She indicates that Sedona Times is biased for presenting information on ALL candidates, Republican, Democrat, Independent and appears to appeal to the paper to maintain the biased views of The Red Rock News, which refuses to publish the opposing side.
It is just this progressive view that has brought our country to the brink and it will be up to others in this country to bring in back, not the Democrats. To refer to the Republicans as a non-party (attempting to group them with the Tea Party) is just the rhetoric we would expect from the Democrats.
Ms. LeFevre, this is America. We are not a socialist nation and do not condone the practices of the socialistic views of the “progressives”.
We welcome and support any newspaper brave enough to publish bios on ALL candidates and enjoy reading the opposing issues.
We will spread the word for all parties, Republicans, Tea Partiers, Independents and just Americans to support your paper with donations and encourage you to continue to report in an UNBIASED manner, unlike the majority of media today.

    Yours
    The Verde Valley Republicans
