Adopt-A-Highway Groups Appreciated

Original Arizona Road Warriors launched anti litter campaign to bring awareness that ADOT was not fulfilling its tax mandated litter clean up program

The Original Arizona Road Warriors launched an anti litter campaign to bring awareness that ADOT was not fulfilling its tax mandated litter clean up program which has grown to include businesses, organizations, schools and churches and individual volunteers who are making a difference in keeping America and Arizona the Beautiful.

Sedona AZ (July 6, 2015)  Only through the combined efforts of the anti litter volunteers now involved and the many more who will join this effort, will we ever reverse the habits of those who destroy the true beauty of “America & Arizona the Beautiful.” It is important to honor those directly contributing to this effort through participation in litter recovery, providing rewards to Adopt-A-Highway groups, and or promoting anti litter messages.

The ADOT Adopt-A-Highway program has the greatest impact on insuring our highways are kept in a condition that represents our Arizona residents and the pride they have in their Arizona highways – particularly the three Arizona veterans highways (the Pearl Harbor Memorial Highway I-10, the Arizona Veterans Highway I-17 and the Purple Heart Trail I-40).

Join the anti litter movement! Make a difference in your community! It’s your turn.
