YCSO Seeks Construction Equipment Thieves

yavapai county sheriff officeCamp Verde AZ (April 15, 2013)Between April 4, 2013, at 6:00 in the evening and April 8, 2013, at 6:00 in the morning, unknown suspects burglarized a construction equipment trailer from a work site on State Highway 260 near Milepost 237 in Camp Verde, Arizona.

Stolen property includes:

1. Honda air compressor valued at $2500

2. 2 Lincoln battery powered grease guns, total value $600

3. 2 Honda 2000 watt invertor generators, total value $2600

4. Stainless steel tool box with various tools, valued at $1800

5. 2 Spectra Precision Laser LL500 laser level, total value $7000

6. Honda GX120 jack tamper, valued at $3700

7. 2 Stihl gas powered TS420 saws, total value $3200

The total value of the stolen equipment is $21,900.

The construction foreman indicated that a trailer stored equipment used at the site. The trailer was left locked on April 4, 2013, and employees even took the extra measure of parking a large tractor in front of the door to block access. When employees arrived the morning of April 8, 2013, the trailer had been moved forward and its door was ajar.
