Flagstaff AZ (October 26, 2012) – On Thursday, October 25, 2012, the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office in California advising it had received reports of two fugitives staying at a house located in Winona, Arizona.
Members of the United States Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force began surveillance of a home in the 5500 block of Copley Drive, Winona Arizona.
At about noon on Friday, October 26, 2012, a law enforcement team confirmed that the two fugitives were staying at the residence.
Lebron Flores and Kendal Compton entered a vehicle with the driver proceeding west on Townsend-Winona Road. A team of officers from Coconino County Sheriff’s Office, Flagstaff Police Department and the U.S. Marshals conducted a High Risk Felony Traffic Stop on the vehicle. The team took Flores and Compton into custody without further incident.
Townsend-Winona Road was blocked in both directions while the suspects were safely apprehended. Both men were transported to the Coconino County Detention Facility where they are being held on $150,000 bond each.
