Sedona construction

Sedona AZ (April 2, 2012) – The installation of an eight inch water main along the northbound lane of Posse Ground Road is scheduled to begin construction on Monday, April 9, 2012. Depending on the excavation conditions, the water main installation will take three or more weeks to complete.

Construction will disrupt the northern end of Posse Ground Road beginning at the intersection of Carruth and Posse Ground (the West Sedona School entry) to approximately 1,000 feet south on Posse Ground Road.

Posse Ground Road will remain open during construction with temporary lane closures and delays expected. Both Posse Ground Road lanes will be open on weekends and at the close of the contractor’s scheduled work day.

Posse Ground Park facilities traffic will not be impacted. School traffic is asked to use the Soldiers Pass and Carruth route to minimize construction delays and increase work zone safety.
