Coffman teaches the “How To Play Piano in Three Hours” method workshop. According to Coffman, “While the classical approach stresses discipline and precision in playing, this approach stresses enjoyment and getting great sounds early on. While precision is vital for classical music, this ‘pain free’ method is more suitable for pop music of all kinds, from Broadway to Rhythm and Blues.” No prior music experience is necessary for this class. Send for a free pamphlet entitled “How To Read Music Notation In Just 30 Minutes!” and include a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Innovative Keyboard Instruction, 2841 S. Southwind Dr., Gilbert, AZ 85295.  For more information on class fees and or to register, call Parks and Recreation at 928-282-7098.
  • Fabulous Faux for Boring Walls classes: If you ever wanted professional looking faux-painted walls but thought it too expensive, make it a do it yourself project:  Set aside Thursdays, October 18 and 25, 2012 in a two-part instructional seminar to learn how with instructor Linda Coffman.  Class time is 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. both evenings.
