Sedona Fire Responds to Head-on Collision

Sedona Fire Department aids injured child

Sedona AZ (March 22 2011)–Sedona Fire Chief Nazih M. Hazime reported that the recent March storm caused the Sedona Fire Department to transport six patients for medical treatment after a head-on collision above the State Highway 89A Switchback.

Overturned snowplow injures driver

A driver of a snowplow was injured when the snowplow overturned and was treated at the scene by the Sedona Fire and Rescue. 

Sedona Firefighter Beneitone is pictured taking care of a walk-in three year old who busted his lip while on a Sedona area vacation with his sister, mom, and grandfather. 

Sedona Battalion Chief Jayson Coil reported that “all the patients appear to be out of district and not local.”

    Thank you to the Sedona firefighters and paramedics for all you do. Despite what the fire board thinks, we as a community respect and appreciate the work you do. I can’t imagine what this town of retired old people would do with out your services. Taxes spent on emergency service are money that I for one am happy to part with.
