Man Twice Convicted of Sexual Assault Registers Prescott Address

Sedona AZ (October 31, 2013) – The Prescott Police Department is releasing the following information pursuant to ARS 13-3825, the Community Notification on Sex Offenders Law. The sex offender in this publication, Timothy Leroy Faulkenborg, has indicated that he will be living within the City of Prescott.

It is the responsibility of the Chief Law Enforcement Officer having jurisdiction where the offender resides to notify the community. Notification must be made when certain sex offenders are released from the Arizona State Prison, accepted under an interstate compact or released from the county jail back into the community.

Offenders are categorized into three levels: Level One (low risk to the community), Level Two (intermediate risk to the community) and Level Three (high risk to the community).

Level Three Sex offender Timothy Leroy Faulkenborg was convicted of a sex offense which allows for community notification:

Faulkenborg will be living at the Budget Host Inn, 809 White Spar Road #29, Prescott, AZ. He is a white male, born May 1962, weighs 235 pounds with green eyes and brown hair.

Faulkenborg was convicted in 1981 of sexual assault in California, followed by a conviction of attempted sexual conduct with a minor in Yavapai County in 1995. Faulkenborg’s second offense involved a nine year old female acquaintance, and he served 13 years in prison as a result of the conviction.

Faulkenborg is not wanted by the Prescott Police Department at this time.

THIS NOTIFICATION IS NOT INTENDED TO INCREASE FEAR; RATHER IT IS OUR BELIEF THAT AN INFORMED COMMUNITY IS A SAFER COMMUNITY. Citizen abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate, or harass sex offenders will not be tolerated.
