Sedona AZ (July 12, 2014) – At approximately 5:15 this morning, YCSO deputies were dispatched to the 900 block of North Rio Verde Circle, Cottonwood, to investigate a robbery and home invasion.

Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies spoke with a female victim in her 50’s who explained that three men forcibly entered her home sometime around 4:00 a.m., tied her up and stole her property. The victim was not physically injured or assaulted otherwise.

The suspects told her they were armed. Details on their descriptions are expected in follow-up notifications.

During the investigation, detectives developed information regarding the suspect’s vehicle which is identified as a black Nissan Maxima, possibly a 2005 or 2006 model, all passenger windows blacked out with tint like that used for limousines. The vehicle displayed an Arizona Cardinal license plate, numbers unknown.

Neighbors told deputies they had seen the vehicle in the area the prior evening. Detectives are following leads this afternoon.
