Collins Rhōg

Sedona AZ (May 21, 2014)The following has been randomly taken from Collins Rhōg’s private journal, and reproduced exactly as it was written, by his own hand. The date has been omitted, at his request, but Collins view is always captivatingly honest, full of depth and color, heart, love, and perseverance in times of struggle. Collins spills his soul and captures his feelings with vivid imagery and heart felt emotion that oozes from the pages of this historic text.

The following is but a portholes view, from across the room of “The Life and Times of Collins Rhōg“:

the birds by the water beg, while an old man throws pieces of bread…as the church bells ring in the distance…

and you can see it written in his face…memories of the days…and you feel exactly where his heart is…

he comes religiously to this spot, and the birds are all he’s got… did you ever stop to say hello?

or did you just seem to pass him by, time after time and time…leave him standing, pretend not to notice…

many loaves are fed, to his children who love the bread and even in poor health he comes…

but then one winters day, the old man goes away, to rejoin loved ones who had left before him…

and the birds by the water frown, when the old man can’t be found…as the church bells ring in the distance.
