Verde Valley Voices 2014 Christmas Concert

Sedona AZ (January 1, 2015) – Resolve to sing more this New Year!

This January 2015, the Verde Valley Voices hope to welcome all new and returning singers to its choir. Rehearsals for the spring concert begin January 13 at the United Methodist Church in Cottonwood, and are open to all who would like to join.

The Voices are a non-audition choir. This year’s spring concert will be under new Music Director and Conductor Caleb Nihira.

Fresh off a successful debut as Conductor and Music Director, Nihira is already looking forward to the Verde Valley Voices spring concert. He, along with the Voices, are excited to bring a mix of audience favorites and new sounds to the Verde Valley community with its upcoming performance.

“Caleb has selected a wonderful array of pieces for the Voices,” VVV president Trish Wood said. “We hope to have as many new members as possible to help bring these songs to life!”

The upcoming concert, entitled “Americana: Songs of Our Land” promises a variety of music inspired by our wonderful nation. Audiences will likely recognize classics such as “Shenandoah”, “Amazing Grace” and, a special version of “This Land Is Your Land” arranged by Woody Guthrie.

Be sure to mark all calendars for the Americana: Songs of Our Land May 2, 2015 performance.

New and returning members of the Verde Valley Voices are welcome to join the choir for its first rehearsal on Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at 6:30 in the evening. Rehearsals will be held at United Methodist Church, 912 South 12th Street, Cottonwood, Arizona. Membership dues are $45. Please arrive early for registration.
