Sedona St. Patrick’s Parade Needs Entrants

st patricks day paradeSedona AZ (January 24, 2013) – The Sedona 44th Annual St. Patrick’s Parade and Festival activities will roll out the fun and frolic March 15, 2014, in uptown Sedona. The parade will begin at 10:30 in the morning at the Jordan Historical Park and make its merry way along Jordan Road to Mesquite Avenue. The Parade Grand Marshal this year will be Arizona Congresswoman Ann Kirkpatrick.

The St. Patrick’s Parade and Festival event entry forms have been mailed to all previous participants. Those requiring entry forms will find application packets available at the Chamber Visitor Center in uptown Sedona, or available for printing from the Sedona Main Street Program website at www.sedonamainstreet.com.

Immediately following the parade, the Parade festival begins until 3:00 in the afternoon on the corner of Jordan Road and Apple Avenue. This year’s festival is sponsored by local businesses Red Rock Western Jeep Tours and A Day in the West.

main street sedona logoBe aware that Monday, February 24, is the parade application deadline. Early applications are advised due to the limited entry space which will be filled on a first-come first-serve basis. Become a part of Sedona’s 44-year history in the only St. Patrick’s Parade celebration in northern Arizona. The application fee is $100 per business entry and $25 per non-profit or individual applicant.

Sedona Main Street and NAU Parks and Recreation Management Programs are proud to present this community event in cooperation with the “Green Team”, Sedona’s St. Patrick’s Day parade committee. Parade questions may be directed to info@sedonamainstreet.com or 928-204-2390. If special accommodations are necessary to participate, notify the parade committee prior to the parade date.
