Sedona Offers God’s Healing Gifts

Judy Asman, R.N., of Honolulu, is an officer in the Health Ministries Assoc. of Hawaii and holds two levels of certification in Healing Touch. Judy will be the featured key-note speaker and provide a hands-on experience in healing touch so that individuals might improve their health and aid in self-healing.  

 

Dr. Anne Borik, of Phoenix, is board certified in Internal Medicine and holds a 3rd degree in black-belt Karate. Dr. Borik pioneered the field of Hospitalists Medicine which she currently practices in Phoenix. Sign Chi Do is moving language – an approach to relaxation that involves posture, movement, and thought. It incorporates breathing, sign language, and focuses on mind, body, and spirit wellness.

 

Janet Wilson, R.N., of Flagstaff, is an active member of the American Holistic Nurses Association and the Association for Applied and Therapeutic Laughter. The Hilarious Laughter workshop will teach participants how laughter works and to experience and participate in the benefits of laughter exercise.

 

The Rev. Phyllis Averill, of Sedona, is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church. Her workshop will explore the deeper meaning of “pondering” – a rich word describing the discipline of drawing together many things, combing through them, and considering them as one. This workshop will seek to enable the individual to use Pondering Prayer to find release and then healing and renewal of strength through prayer.

 

The gathering of these four women with unique talents and expertise in health and healing will provide a unique experience for individual participants.

 

The workshop will be held Saturday, September 25th, from 8:30A until 4:00P, at the Sedona United Methodist Church. Morning refreshments and lunch will be provided.
