Mowing of weeds and tall grasses is scheduled to start Monday, August 16, 2010, and should be completed in ten working days.  The mowing crew will be starting by the Sedona Red Rock High School and will continue down SR 89A and SR 179 traveling down the side streets along the way. 

For the safety of both Sedona motorists and the maintenance crews, we urge all drivers to remain alert, slow down, and keep a safe distance between their vehicles and any traffic barriers, trucks, equipment, and workers as they perform weed control and mowing. 

Just like all of us, maintenance workers want to return home safely after each day’s work.
