Libraries are one of the first points of call for many of those conducting historical research. Local libraries often hold records and books focussing on local events; these sources nearly always provide primary and secondary sources. It is important to utilise both of these source types in order to present well-rounded findings in historical research. Museums are priceless historical treasures and research opportunities also.
