Dear Sedona Eye editor and readers,

I have witnessed the devotion Sedona Fire District employees have for the safety of our residents.  Emergency mitigations can only be accomplished with a budget which allows sufficient personnel and equipment to respond quickly to emergencies.  As a resident, taxpayer and former SFD fire chief, I am very concerned how our tax dollars are being spent in the fire district.  The current path of our tax dollar expenditures will compromise our firefighter’s safety. 

Our community is also at risk; unnecessary death could sadly be the result.  I pray this will never happen to one of yours or my loved ones.
