Sedona AZ (December 14, 2012) – On November 27, 2012, the SedonaEye.com printed a letter to the editor from Village of Oak Creek resident, Elaine Brown, detailing an anticipated Yavapai County Board of Supervisors rubber stamp of approval for installation of two cell towers, including all corporate requested waivers and variances, without allowing any public notice or discourse in the Sedona and Cottonwood residential communities of Sedona Pines and Verde Village.
A public outcry ensued, in opposition to the anticipated action by the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors.
Today, the elected Yavapai County Board of Supervisors notified the public that the December 17, 2012 Board Meeting Agenda Cell Tower Placement line items were withdrawn by the requesting corporations, however, in separate emails, neither Supervisor Tom Thurman nor Supervisor A.G. Davis included notice when Clear Blue Services and or AT&T cell tower installation requests will be rescheduled:

I am a resident of Sunset Hills. Sedona Pines is trying to push the housing of AT&T’s 99 ft Cell Tower next door to all of us in Sedona Shadows/Sunset Hills.
They have a construction date scheduled for the end of the third quarter. Please help us.
