Recycle Trash for Cash

Food Trash on Arizona highway

Dear Sedona Eye News and all who are interested,

I will be traveling (driving a car) for three months seeing family in Oregon, driving to Washington, DC and on to Kentucky for a military reunion (Americal Division), Branston, Missouri (Military reunion, B Troop 1/1 CAV) and then, it’s back to Arizona.

I will be distributing the Folksville USA business cards which, as many of you know, states “Restore the beauty to America the Beautiful” explaining our program to push back against those who illegally dump litter on our highways.

If you know anyone who would be willing to help finance 7,000 Folksville USA cards at a cost of $175 plus tax, please let me know as soon as possible. I will be sure to mention your support, including thanking you, in our follow-up articles when I return.

Please mail your donation to Mayor of Folksville, PO Box 1138, Cornville, AZ 86325. Please notify me by e-mail as to your donation and amount.

Any funding pledged in excess will be given to a home for autistic adults in Cornville, AZ to support its “Recycle Trash for Cash” effort. Rusty’s Morningstar Ranch, the home for these autistic men, can be seen at www.rmr.org.

Rusty’s agreed to receive all of the bags of highway litter collected by our Adopt-A-Highway Permittees and to separate out the contents, trash and recyclables.

Rusty’s will donate the recyclables to Sedona Recycles and dispose of the trash using a dumpster provided by Taylor & Sons in Cottonwood, AZ.

Please follow our Folksville USA stories on SedonaEye.com as we tell about our community movement to recover and recycle illegally dumped highway litter. Sedona Eye online news is a supporter of Folksville USA efforts!

Thank you for your support to keep our hyways and byways litter free.
