Sex Offender Brian Christopher Silva moves to Prescott Valley Arizona
Prescott AZ (February 5, 2013) – The Prescott Valley Police Department is releasing the following information pursuant to ARS 13-3825 the Community Notification of Sex Offenders Law.
The Level Two sex offender in this notification is living in Prescott Valley, Arizona. Notification must be made when certain sex offenders are released from the Arizona State Prison, released from County Jail, or are accepted under an interstate compact.
Offenders are categorized into three levels according to their risk to the community: Level one (1)-low risk; Level two (2)-intermediate risk; Level three (3)-high risk.
Sex offender Brian Christopher Silva has been convicted of a sex offense that allows for community notification. He is NOT wanted by the Prescott Valley Police at this time.
This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather it is our belief that an informed community is a safer community. Citizen abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate, or harass sex offenders will not be tolerated. IN MARICOPA COUNTY, IN 2006, BRIAN CHRISTOPHER SILVA WAS CONVICTED OF TWO (2) COUNTS OF ATTEMPTED CHILD MOLESTATION AND ONE (1) COUNT OF ATTEMPTED SEXUAL CONDUCT WITH A MINOR UNDER THE AGE OF 15. THE CASE INVOLVED ONE UNDER AGE FEMALE KNOWN TO HIM. THE CRIME DID NOT INVOLVE PHYSICAL FORCE.
Brian Christopher Silva, 26 years old, is 6’3″ and at the time of this notification weighs 180 lbs. He has Brown hair and Hazel eye color. The address of record for Silva will be 3248 North Hedgewood Drive, #A, Prescott Valley, Arizona.

COMMUNITY INFORMATION BULLETIN – On Monday, February 4, 2013, at approximately 6:00 P.M. outside the St. Andrews Church on Arroyo Pinion Drive, Sedona, Arizona, two young children were approached by a male subject who asked them, “Do you want to see my duck? It’s in my car.”
The children refused to go with him, and the male subject drove away leaving the area.
This has been the only report of this type of suspicious activity that has come to our attention. Our investigation into this incident is continuing, and we have no new information at this time.
The description of the male subject is a WHITE MALE WITH WHITE HAIR, driving a WHITE passenger vehicle.
We are asking everyone to be aware of your surroundings, and if you see someone matching this description, or anything suspicious, to call the City of Sedona or other local police immediately. (YCSO has a walk-in substation in the Village of Oak Creek, Sedona AZ.)
