Attention:  Speaker Andy Tobin

Dear Mr. Andy Tobin and Arizona House of Representatives,

On behalf of those mentioned in the recent recognition provided by the Arizona House of Representatives on November 18, 2013 for our Folksville USA “America the Beautiful & BagReadyJobs” effort I wish to thank those responsible for making this recognition possible.

As you are aware, there have been hundreds of participants consisting of Northern Arizona ADOT Adopt-A-Highway groups, businesses and residents that have made our Folksville USAAmerica the Beautiful & BagReadyJobs” effort a success and this is a work in progress.

Only through regular and aggressive anti-litter messages in the homes, schools and businesses will the litter issues plaguing Arizona and the nation cease to exist or be drastically reduced. Participation in litter recovery events, by community residents, leaders, schools and our youth must occur for there to be a positive, lasting result. Arizona and the United States is looking more like many of the third-world countries in regards to litter.

As you know, it is our policy not to endorse any political party or person but we can personally thank you. Speaker Tobin, you are the only state politician that has voluntarily contacted us and offered a helping hand. About three years ago you wrote us a letter thanking us for our efforts. Thank you letters, media attention and recognition are always appreciated for it tells our anti-litter participants that someone cares about their efforts!

Folksville USA makes every attempt to reach out to every religious, ethnic and political group with an invitation to help us with this effort. Again, you are the only Arizona politician from any political party that has contacted us, offered to help us and assisted our cause without asking for anything in return. We can now add the members of the Arizona House of Representatives to our list of supporters and hope that individual members will take this message to the voters.

As a state (Arizona) and the nation, we can all do a better job of restoring the beauty to “America the Beautiful” I hope that you and many others will participate in our effort by encouraging participation in our nations Adopt-A-Highway programs and increasing awareness, education and participation efforts.

If you and others will encourage Arizona residents to Google “America the Beautiful & BagReadyJobs” the recipe for success and involvement will be revealed. If we could all focus on cleaning up our Arizona veteran’s highways which are a disgrace to every veteran and their families that would be a honorable goal.

Many hands with one goal can make a difference and it can never be the same people doing all the work.

Respectfully,

Gary Chamberlain
