High Risk Sex Offender Registers Prescott Valley Address

Prescott AZ (November 24, 2012) – The Prescott Valley Police Department, Prescott Valley, Arizona is releasing the following information pursuant to ARS 13-3825 the Community Notification of Sex Offenders Law.

The sex offender, Jason Massingill, notified police he is living in Prescott Valley, Arizona.

Notification must be made when certain sex offenders are released from the Arizona State Prison, released from County Jail, or are accepted under an interstate compact.

Sex offenders are categorized into three levels according to their risk to the community: Level one (1)-low risk; Level two (2)-intermediate risk; Level three (3)-high risk.

Jason Massingill has been convicted of a sex offense that allows for community notification.

Jason Massingill is NOT wanted by the Prescott Valley Police at this time.

This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather it is our belief that an informed community is a safer community. Citizen abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate, or harass sex offenders will not be tolerated.

In 2004, Jason Massingill was convicted of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor. The case involved one under-age female known to him. The crime did not involve physical force. He is classified as a Level Three (3) sex offender.
