Harley McGuire Sends SOS for Missing Zia and Outlaw

Outlaw and Zia

Outlaw and Zia are missing and your help is needed to find them, asks SedonaEye.com pet columnist Harley McGuire!

Sedona AZ (January 12, 2015) – My heart is ever so sad because my loving buddies, Zia and Outlaw, for some reason foolishly took flight from the safety of their home. They decided it was a good idea to become adventuresome, and managed to take a hike on their own.

It is now 4:00 in the afternoon on Monday, January 12, 2015, and Mommy tells me they have been missing for around sixteen hours, and soon it will be nighttime and I am ever so fearful.

These are my two pals who were at the birthday party for Laurel and Hardy a few months ago. They are pretty big dudes, but ever so gentle and I don’t even get jealous one bit when Zia girl puts her paws on Mom’s shoulders, and kisses her all over her face more often than not when we take walks.

Please, please be on the lookout for these wonderful friends of mine. We are all sad and hope someone will hear this plea from me, and let me or my Publisher C. Hill know if you have ANY information at Publisher@SedonaEye.com.

What area of town should we all be on the lookout? I had dog that just took off one morning and finally returned to the back door after dark so I’ve huge hopes these two will decide it’s dinner time and return home!

  3. Please keep us posted ..we will be praying for a safe return home

  4. Well it’s like this. They went missing in the Broken Arrow area, that’s East of the 179 hiway where Morgan Road goes. Problem is, there’s vast forest lands over out yonder so there’s no way to know which direction they headed. But that’s the spot they cut loose from Yep, Broken Arrow.

  5. Those naughty scoundrels came home. Zia and Outlaw’s daddy just called to let us know they knocked on their front door around 5:00 AM, dirty and tired but other than that are OK. They are two lucky pups to have survived their lengthy adventure.

Oh, it is indeed a good day, and thank you Sedona Eye for sharing a chapter in the book of life that has a happy ending.

    Lovingly,
    Harley McGuire

  6. Thank you, Harley McGuire, and welcome back Zia and Outlaw. A happy ending to a Sedona adventure “tail”…
