Sedona AZ (August 5, 2014) – The Hospice Compassus program serving Sedona and Kachina Point Rehabilitation Hospital will host a free Health and Wellness Fair on Saturday, August 9, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Sedona Fire Station #3, 125 Slide Rock Road, in the Village of Oak Creek. This event will feature free blood pressure, oxygen saturation level, vision, vein (vascular) screenings, ayurvedic assessment, car seat safety checks, and more.

No appointments are necessary, and screenings are on a first-come first-serve basis.

“When it comes to your health, we all know that knowledge is power,” said Susan Blanchard, Executive Director for Hospice Compassus in Sedona. “Hospice Compassus is pleased to host this Health and Wellness Fair, with our community partners, to help ensure that residents of Sedona and the surrounding areas take an active role in improving their overall health and start the journey toward a more active lifestyle.”

The Sedona Health and Wellness Fair will also feature events for the whole family, including face painting, music, prizes, free give-aways, refreshments and more.
