Dear Editor: Lisa Weber Grondin

“Life is eternal and love is immortal; And death is only a horizon, And a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight.”

                                                                                                      Rossiter W. Raymond

Today, September 18 2010, Lisa Weber Grondin’s life was celebrated. Over one hundred family, friends and neighbors gathered in the Village of Oak Creek’s Nazarene Church amidst butterfly bushes, music and photographs to share memories and renew promises to co-create hope and joy in lives shattered by Lisa’s unexpected death last year.

“Just as despair can come to one only from other human beings, hope, too, can be given to one only by other human beings.”
Elie Weisel

I never knew Lisa yet this letter made me feel the love others have for her children and her parents and those of her family and friends who obviously loved her very much. We all want to be remembered so lovingly. God bless.
