City of Tolleson Honors Veterans

tolleson az logoSedona AZ (July 13, 2014)If you served in the Armed Forces and or the community of Tolleson and are a resident or an employee of the City of Tolleson, we are looking for you!

The City of Tolleson and VFW Post 6310 are joining efforts to create a photo montage to honor the men and women who have served in the Armed Forces and who have served our community as public servants. This montage will be showcased at this year’s Veterans Day ceremony which will take place on November 11, 2014, at Veterans Park, 8601 West Van Buren Street, Tolleson, Arizona.

If you served in any war and are or were a police officer, fire personnel, EMT, Sheriff or any type of first responder, we encourage you to become part of this memorable exhibit of your courage.

World War Two VetsHere is what we need:
1. 5×7 photo – only size accepted and will not be returned.
2. Must be in Armed Force attire in the picture.
3. Write your name, branch of service, public servant role and phone number on the back of the pictures.
4. Must be a Tolleson resident or work with the City of Tolleson.
5. Must be delivered on or before October 17, 2014 to the City of Tolleson Parks and Recreation Department 9555 West Van Buren Street, Tolleson, AZ 85353.
