In addition to the Board of Supervisors’, Presiding Superior Court Judge Mackey, and Yavapai County Sheriff Scott Mascher; RGS Energy and SunEdison representatives will be in attendance to field questions about the project.
The project will total 791 kilowatts of solar power and is expected to generate a total of 1.2 million kilowatt hours annually. By harnessing the power of the sun, the county expects to reduce the cost of electricity by more than $500,000 over 20 years.
The public is welcome to attend.
