Hiker Killed by Falling Tree in West Fork

Sedona AZ (October 17, 2013) – Today, 80 year old Phyllis Lindberg of Sedona, Arizona, was hiking with four friends in West Fork of Oak Creek Canyon. The group stopped for lunch shortly after 11:00 in the morning and rested on a log near the trail. A large conifer tree fell striking Ms. Lindberg as she sat.
