Sedona AZ (April 27, 2015) – The 8th annual interfaith, inter-generational day of doing good deeds (mitzvahs) will be celebrated in our greater Sedona community. Many people have already registered for a volunteer project, but last minute sign-ups are needed too.
All volunteers will gather at St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church, 180 St. John Vianney Lane, in west Sedona on Sunday, May 3, at 11:45 a.m. to register, be given a tee shirt and snack, and a Send-Off blessing. Work on projects for local non-profit organizations will begin by 12:45 p.m. to wrap up about 3: 30 p.m. A closing gathering with pizza and a drink begins at 4:00 p.m. back at St. John Vianney Church social hall. Volunteers will have a chance to share stories about the good deeds they performed. For more information, call 630-624-0143 or email mitzvahdaysedona@gmail.com.
Please join your community and do a good deed. Volunteer and put your Sedona community gratitude in action!
