2014 Sedona Film Festival Passes Raffle

rotary emblemSedona AZ (December 15, 2013) – Four Gold Passes to the 2014 Sedona Film Festival have been donated as raffle prizes for the Sedona Women and the Rotary Club of Sedona. The Gold Passes, each valued at $480, will be given away in pairs to two lucky raffle ticket holders (a total value of $960). Raffle tickets may be purchased at Bashas’, Webber’s IGA,  or from a member of the Rotary Club of Sedona or the Sedona Women for $20 in cash or check. Tickets may also be purchased with a credit card online.

The raffle drawing will take place January 8, 2014.

Half of the proceeds from the raffle will go to the Helen Wolfe Scholarship. The Sedona Women, Dames Who Make a Difference, awards annual scholarships in honor of its founder, Helen Wolfe. Individual scholarships, up to $2500, are awarded (in May) to women who plan to resume educations.

The proceeds received by the Rotary Club will go toward programs which recognize and encourage achievement in high school:  These programs now include Rotary Honor Student recognition, Rotary Youth Leadership Award camp experience, international student exchanges, the Interact Club and the Career Fair.

The Rotary Club of Sedona meets every Tuesday noon at the Barking Frog Grille. The Sedona Women meet the second Wednesday of each month from September – May.
