Constitution Day Voter Registration

LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS celebrate Constitution Day by registering voters to make democracy work!

Sedona AZ–The week of September 9-September 17 marks the anniversary of the signing of the Constitution. In this important election year, the League of Women Voters of Sedona-Verde Valley is marking this milestone by finding new ways to engage voters and encourage active citizenship.

“Don’t let your neighbor decide your destiny,” said local League President Francine Levengood.  “Issues of the economy, health care, taxes, ecology and immigration will affect your future aspirations.  Even when your side loses, the number of votes cast in opposition can influence legislation.  Let your voice be heard.  Register and vote.”
