AZ I-17 Rest Area to close for emergency drill
Sedona AZ (November 6, 2016) – The northbound McGuireville Rest Area along Interstate 17 will be closed to travelers the morning of Tuesday, November 8, to allow Copper Canyon Fire and Medical Authority to conduct a mass-casualty incident drill, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Sedona AZ (November 4, 2016) – On Wednesday, November 9, Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, in cooperation with local and State agencies, will test the 58 outdoor warning sirens located within the 10-mile emergency planning zone of the nuclear generating station.
