Yavapai Supervisor Joins Academy

Yavapai County Supervisor Chip Davis

Cottonwood AZ (February 28, 2012) – Yavapai County District 3 Supervisor A. G. (Chip) Davis has been selected as a member of the third class of the Flinn-Brown Civic Leadership Academy. Davis was selected as one of twenty-five Fellows from a highly competitive class selection process.

The Flinn-Brown Academy involves a dozen intensive day-long seminars on critical issues facing Arizona and emphasizes the skills and knowledge that help leaders resolve state level challenges.

Current and former public policy experts, scholars, agency heads, elected officials, and other leaders drawn from the public and private sectors share not only facts and figures, but also a wide variety of perspectives and leadership skills with the new class of Fellows. Beyond the twelve sessions, the Academy includes advising from a private-public-sector leader, an individual plan for civic leadership, and an alumni network.

The Flinn-Brown Civic Leadership Academy is supported by the Flinn Foundation and Thomas R. Brown Foundation.
