HARLEY, an African gray parrot went missing from the Concho Drive neighborhood (about 1 mile up Jack’s Canyon east of SR 179 in the VOC) on Saturday, Oct 9. He is about 14″ from head to tail. His feathers are all light gray except for a short tail plume which is red, and his beak is black. His flight feathers are partially clipped so he can fly short distances.
He makes a distinctive “pop-pop” sound and whistles the themes to Get Smart and the Andy Griffith Show.
His favorite foods are peanuts and grapes… he can sometimes be lured with these. He loves women, but doesn’t always react well to men.
Please call 301-0049 if you see him… he is missed!!
