Cottonwood AZ–In honor of Verde Valley Presbyterian Church’s 25th anniversary, the congregation has organized “Bright Heart Awards” to recognize area residents who have provided superb examples of volunteerism or acts of humanitarianism to local residents. The nominations are in and your chance to vote ends August 20 2010.
More than twenty nominations were submitted by the community and are listed below: Nominees were selected posthumously and by default Beth Carrigan, Executive Director/CEO Light Heart Foundation, was chosen in this category.

In addition to recognizing outstanding community volunteers, Verde Valley Presbyterian Church will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a special “2010 Harvest Moondance,” a community outreach project. A portion of the “2010 Harvest Moondance” event’s proceeds will be donated to each of the award recipient’s non-profit of choice.
Advance tickets are now available; suggested donation is $5 and up ($10 at the door, if seating is available). Seating is limited so buy your tickets early. For advance tickets, call (928) 649-6599.

this is not very clear……but i cast my vote for Paul Green. he is a nice guy and very kind and helpful at the hosptial.
I will vote for Paul Green also. He is a tireless volunteer at Verde Valley Medical Center and treats visitors with courtesy and kindness at the reception desk.
