Verde Valley Sanctuary Raffle Tickets

Sedona AZJust in time for the gift giving season, the Verde Valley Sanctuary, a private, nonprofit, northern Arizona organization that provides emergency shelter to abused women and their children, has launched a new fundraising initiative. 365 Days of Hope: A Raffle Benefiting the Verde Valley Sanctuary is a yearlong raffle contest featuring a variety of beautiful and valuable prizes. Between now and next spring, tickets can be purchased for $10 each or 12 for $100. Winners will be drawn in spring 2011 (winners need not be present to win).

Their list of prizes continues to grow every week. Right now, the impressive collection includes art from John Soderberg, David DeVary, Ken Rowe, Susan Kliewer, Jason Napier, Sherab Khandro, Thom Dougherty, Misty Soderberg, Heather Soderberg, Doug Adams and David Fischel; vacation packages at Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa and Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa; a Sedona wedding bridal giveaway from Sedona Wedding Studios; two gold passes to the 2012 Sedona International Film Festival; and a catered dinner party from Perfection Catering and Tri Rentals.

Raffle tickets make great stocking stuffers. Tickets can be purchased at the Sanctuary’s two thrift stores, Twice Nice Thrift Store (2070 W. SR 89A in West Sedona; 928-282-2563) and Second Chance Thrift Store (675 E. Cottonwood St. in Cottonwood; 928-634-7555), and online.


Verde Valley Sanctuary representatives will be selling tickets at community events in Sedona and the Verde Valley throughout the season.
 
Verde Valley Sanctuary is a multi-service agency that responds to the problem of domestic abuse in the Sedona-Verde Valley community. The agency was founded in 1993. Programs have grown and been developed in response to community needs and presently include an emergency shelter with a 24-hour hotline, transitional housing, community and youth outreach, and legal advocacy.
