New York Musician Valerie Romanoff will be throwing her CD Release Party & Show in Sedona, Arizona for her new recording, “Healing Music For Massage, Meditation and Transformation.” Best known for owning and running Starlight Orchestras in New York, playing guitar and leading her 16 piece “Starlight Experience” at high profile events around the country, Valerie has branched out into new territory with the release of this CD. Through her new company, Valrock Music, Valerie is presenting original music in several different genres, all geared toward uplifting and enhancing one’s life with sound and music.
The CD Release Party & Show on March 6th, 2010 at “Sedona Studio Live” will feature two very different sets: the first will be the presentation of her “Healing Music” CD in a variety of formats, the second set will be uptempo music featuring Valerie on vocals and electric guitar along with her “Sedona Groove Band.”
While accomplished New York musicians like Tom Rossi and Tony Aiello will be traveling with her for this event, Valerie will be joined by such Sedona notables as guitarist Anthony Mazella, harpist Ani Williams, and Native American flutist Jess Kalu, among others.
World famous Yoga master, Tao Porchon-Lynch, will also be coming from New York to celebrate and perform with Valerie. This promises to be an unusual and exciting event, and the debut of a talented new artist.
All the pursuits and projects of Valerie Romanoff have one thing in common; the dedication to harmonious living and holistic wellness. Valerie’s life has always revolved around music, family, and the “Inner Journey.” Valerie co-founded Starlight Orchestras and Productions in New York City in 1991. Since then she has pioneered the company to be a leading provider of live music for private events throughout the country. During that time, she raised a family, developed numerous successful bands at Starlight, and became certified in Mind-Body-Spirit Psychotherapy. As a bandleader, she performed for the Presidential Inaugural Ball, private events for The Dallas Cowboys and NASCAR, as well as countless charity and fundraising events in all the major cities. She has developed a reputation for presenting impeccable quality performance and offering superb customer service. While based in New York, Valerie has followed her guidance and has spent a great deal of time in Sedona, Arizona since the early 90’s. As a place of personal inspiration and spiritual significance, Valerie has led pilgrimages and introduced many of her collaborators to the healing aspects and powerful energy of this magical place.
While continuing to run Starlight and perform with her own band at private events, Valerie is spending more time on her original music projects. She started Valrock Music publishing company, and released “Healing Music for Massage, Meditation and Transformation” which is already earning rave reviews. She currently enjoys exploring different transformative types of music, including devotional chanting, sound healing, and world grooves. She is also writing a book about the effect of music on the flow of parties and weddings.
