Town of Jerome Wants Your Cell Phones

Sedona AZ (February 12, 2011) –  The Town of Jerome, Arizona, is now serving as a drop off location for used cell phones that will be turned over to the local county of Yavapai.

Yavapai County gathers old cell phones, has them erased, and then distributes the phones for victim assistance programs. Benefiting from this collection and redistribution is a program that assists crime victims relocation to a safer place.

If you have an old usable cell phone (with or without the charger), please bring to Town Hall or the Jerome Public Library any time during regular business hours. The town will deliver them to the proper county office.
