The Threat from Within – State of the Union Year End Report

by Joseph J. Racano

Friends of Future Freedom,

As we grieve together for those killed in France, Colorado, San Bernardino and elsewhere, we can take solace in the season. December in modern American culture is fertile like the spring; a time to reflect, for quality relationships, and a place marker from which we set a baseline for our hopes to come. If we can look through the smokey haze of current events, we can still manage to be optimistic. For the first time in history, the world is united in a cause of self betterment, if for no other reason than our mutual survival.

At the risk of alienating some, I have always put truth first and my public appeal second. As someone completely unelectable, I have that luxury. I have run for public office five times, never with any possibility of winning an election, but always being successful in altering the conversation toward substance. You understand how important truth and substance are these days when you read the news, watch it on TV and internet, or listen to America’s presidential debates. The candidates are there, the issues are there, big money is there, war hawks and their conjoined twin big oil is there- but the truth alas is not.

That lack of truth motivates me annually on a masochistic trek to write a State of the Union and offer it to whomever needs a healing dose of truth or utter madness, depending on your outlook. One of the issues on my mind is gun control. I feel uniquely qualified to reflect on this because of my dual citizenship, having one foot in two different worlds. On the one hand, I am a card-carrying member of PETA. I am proud of it. The world needs PETA because the world needs compassion. On the other hand, I am a card-carrying member of the National Rifle Association. That’s right, the NRA. When I was in a sports shop recently, the owner said, “You can’t join the NRA- you’re a tree-hugging liberal.” I told him not to drink the kool-aid. Liberals and conservatives must act together in concert or we risk being buried in a mass grave like the communards (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communards).

There is a thing called TMT, or ‘Terror Management Theory’ which is the study of how to control the behavior of populations by dosing them with terror. According to Senator Al Franken, the George W. Bush administration did three separate TMT studies and concluded that people who feared for their lives or thought constantly of their own mortality were far more likely to vote for strong-leadership types, even if the voter was liberal. Around the world and recently even in America, there are many terror inducing events. Some are part of TMT, while others are simply terror crimes. The way to tell the difference is in how the media uses these criminal acts afterward to manipulate the population.

For instance, the morning of the 9-11 attacks, I was shocked and aghast. But after watching the reports come in for a few hours, I realized how often the site of the planes hitting the buildings was being shown to the viewer, and I knew it was being done on purpose. And so it was true, ‘the threat always comes from within.’ Liken it to a pickpocket who does his dirty deed by getting the ‘mark’ to focus away on the horizon. Watch that Saddam Hussein! Watch out for Al Qaeda, Isis, and zip- the oil and drug cartel just swiped your wallet!

And never in history has this all been more important. For the first time, we have a pope who has come out against climate change, with billions hanging on his every word. We have a climate summit underway as I write these words. And then you have Al Gore, whose life mission is to battle climate change, and this time he came up with a plan for a global action concert series on no less than seven continents, featuring Bon Jovi, Elton John and many others. This concert was to be broadcast 24 straight hours all over the world, bringing attention on the climate summit-to-be.

And at the exact time the concert was to begin in Paris, Sydney, Rio, Bejing and elsewhere, this highly suspicious French terrorist attack takes place, killing 130 people, turning France into a world war II police state, and completely obliterating any mention of climate talks, concerts or summits out of the news. Shortly thereafter, another shooting at Planned Parenthood, brought to you by the vile rhetoric supplied by foul-mouthed Republican presidential candidates, not unlike the shooting of Congresswoman Gabby was brought to you by Sarah Palin’s map with liberal congresspersons she felt needed to be ‘removed’ demarked by a rifle target.

Climate marchers were forbidden to gather in France last week although other large gatherings went on as planned. Marchers who defied the order were beaten and jailed, and restaurants around Paris are reporting of police swat teams battering their doors in during dinner! This caused the opposite effect of hiding the climate summit from the news, so somebody had to use what is called ‘transference’ (an old public relations technique) to draw media attention somewhere else. And miraculously, another big shoot-em-up occurs in San Bernardino California, where 14 people were killed by cammo-thugs who burst into a Christmas party firing semi automatic rifles. Suspiciously, police say a young couple tossed away their new baby, good jobs and bright future and took on the cops in a raging gun battle and all for no apparent reason. For the sake of comparison and coverage, 14 people were also killed in a single climate-induced storm in the Midwest this week. Will the government want to ban the weather channel?

I think it is important to note that all stories carried about these events have focused on the public’s right to own semi automatic rifles and ammunition rather than domestic and foreign policy, violent video games or glorification of all things military. All the stories are now morphing as we speak, into a cheering section for police, swat, paramilitary, tighter lockdowns, less freedoms and more so-called domestic intelligence gathering among US citizens. In other words, we’re heading down a dark road and a slippery slope that will lead to an Orwellian future if we let it. Historically, when a people have been subjugated, they were first divided and disarmed. We must allow neither. If a populace is to lay down their arms forever, that disarmament must start with the military and the police. The last people you would want to disarm are those in charge- and those in charge are supposed to be us. Currently, there are no candidates for US President who will address this danger- the threat from within.

  1. Stand for something because the worse thing is being a person who stands for nothing. While standing, listen. You may hear the winds of change and learn something new.

  2. J. J. says:

We all know that para-military weapons like AK47’s are not hunting rifles, they are anti-government rifles. Immigrants to this country, servicemen, federal government employees, and more have pledged and believe in The United States Oath of Allegiance which states:
I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God.

Furthermore, there seems to be a pattern with these shootings – all having taken place during “drills” and “training.” The shooters in San Berdo – was it three or was it two? (we’ll never know) – used police-issued weapons. So how did they get those weapons, and how does this affect the law-abiding 2nd amendment believer? France has one of the strictest laws on the books relating to guns, but those shooters had no problem getting military-issued weapons.

And there’s the connection between SSRI-type drugs and shootings. ALmost ALL of the mass shooters were either taking or with-drawing from these drugs.

There’s more to these stories than meets the eye and it requires each and every one of us to remain vigilant, but also remember that we’re all on this planet to live together in peace. Seems to me that the powers that (want) to be are stirring the pot.

    Blessings of peace, JJ

Kudos to Coach Buzz Williams, VT Basketball Coach.
Given the disrespect evidenced by most of today’s athletes during our National Anthem, decided to “have a talk with his players”.
